It’s October, and that means Halloween. And with Halloween comes a barrage of media stories that will try to really push anything paranormal, because, you know, this is the only time of year that the paranormal deserves any mainstream attention. Anyhoo, there’s this story of an alleged ghostly face of a little girl in a window, that is fairly unconvincing to me. But take a look for yourself and see what you think…
RAVENNA, Ohio – Lu Ann Sicuro has lived in her Ravenna home for 20 years. She says she’s experienced some strange and frightening paranormal activity.
She hears voices, noises in the closets and door knobs jiggling in her northeast Ohio home.
She claims the proof is in a photo taken by her son a few years ago. It shows a little girl’s image in the window.
Lu Ann said what was captured on camera is quite disturbing and very bizarre, WEWS reported.
“I feel that this image is a very good photo of something paranormal caught on camera,” she said. Lu Ann thinks the girl is roaming her halls at night.
“A very disturbing photo. It appears to be an image of a child. I believe the image in the photograph shows what is in our home,” she said. “I’ve heard giggling, I’ve heard little footsteps.”
Two teams of paranormal investigators checked out the house and have confirmed a presence.
To me, the photo looks fake. I’m not sure why she would wait years before showing this to anyone, if she is so convinced it is real. But it just looks too good to be true. Or it’s just some matrixing in the window. I never really trust any photos of alleged ghosts in windows or other reflective surfaces simply because they can bend and twist light in very unusual ways, and our brains can see all sorts of spooky things in the random patterns.
