UFO in Sydney

Apparently, a UFO was seen in Syndey, as reported by news.com.au. This was all over the news last week, and I honestly don’t know what to make of it. Like so many UFO pictures, it’s not really that impressive, in the grand scheme of things. So I’m not sure why it got so much attention. You can’t see any details on the saucer, it’s hard to say exactly how big it is, and it’s all black, giving no real sense of shape or depth. The witness, Fiona Hartigan, says the object was black, which would make it difficult to photograph, especially at sunset.

“As I was about to take the picture this black object appeared and then it started to move,” she said. “It started off about 800m away but it came closer – to about 400m – and then two other little round things appeared from this bright orange light above”

To me, the picture really isn’t impressive. It could be a speck of dust on the lens, or simply a fairly uninspired Photoshop creation. I just can’t lend much credibility to this since no other witnesses are mentioned, and the black speck can literally be anything. Extraterrestrial spacecraft should be the last thing we assume it to be.
