In Taiwan a man has been charged with assaulting a woman by taking advantage of her severe fear of the paranormal and pretending he was a ghost. Thankfully he was apprehended (after spending six months in the mountains!).
The suspect, a 39-year-old man surnamed Liu, sneaked into his neighbor’s home at 4 a.m. on Nov. 5, 2008, after a few drinks and wearing only a white undershirt and patterned shorts. To cover his face from his victim, Liu pulled the undershirt over his head.
The victim told prosecutors that she was frozen by the vision of a manlike figure with a white head.
A good word of advice is that, if you are ever gripped by fear by something that seems to be absolutely paranormal, try to take a deep breath and think logically. The simplest answer as to what the “paranormal” occurrence actually may be is usually correct. And for heaven’s sake, lock your doors and windows!
