This week’s photo is a panorama of the city we live in and the city we love: New York City. This photo presents a slightly different view of the city, and not one that is seen very often. The landmarks and skyscrapersare not showcased, but it is very much New York City, and this view most resembles the Manhattan of old.
New York City, of course, is considered one of the most haunted cities in the world. The Dakota apartment building, One If By Land, Two If By Sea, the Empire State Building, the New Amsterdam Theater, The Bridge Café, and the White Horse Tavern are just a few of the many locations in the city that are said to be haunted. And ghosts are just one of the many paranormal phenomena that seem to plague the metropolis. UFOs, alligators in the sewers, giant rats and other subway tunnel atrocities, and even out of place animals like kangaroos and elephants have been reported in the city for years. It is one of the best-known locations in the world, and yet still one of the most mysterious.
